The main intention of the extension of the Fuji factory, erected in 1996, was to change the process of producing wafer chips and to upgrade the cleanroom and extend the utility spaces. Transcending beyond the conventional factory facade treatment, the new facade is structured with a new reinforced concrete frame, encasing playful organic screens of fabrics.
