This is the sequel to 2018’s Bukit Mertajam Arts & Culture Festival, a continuation that aims to protect and nurture positive values and cultural assets in the light of steep decline in the urban fabric and economic activities in and around the historic town. Moreover, awareness of the history and importance of the historic town as the center of trade and culture for Seberang Perai/ Province Wellesley need to be raised among the youths in order to preserve the arts and cultures heritage.
